Sigma 50-500mm on Canon - 2007/03/25 07:26 Just wondering if anyone else is using the Sigma 50-500mm (Bigma) on a Canon DSLR body and how they are finding it.
I'm wondering because I started off using one on a Nikon D70 and was really happy with the results. However, since moving over to Canon I don't seem to be getting the same results.
I've been using a 20D with it most of the time. I haven't really tried it on any super sunny days, but I seem to get a lot of colour noise on the wave face (even at ISO 100) and the photos just aren't sharp enough, or the resolution looks kind of low if that makes sense.
I did try it on my 5D the other day and it looked a bit better, but then I'm loosing a load of magnification!
